Avenos FM200 Clean Gas Fire Suppression Systems
Product Description
Gases are widely used in fire safety systems. But some gases, such as carbon dioxide, are not suitable for use in areas where people are present. FM200 is referred to as a clean agent fire extinguisher gas. Also called heptafluoropropane, HFC-227ea, HFC-227 and apaflurane, this gas absorbs heat and allows flames to be extinguished. It can also be used easily in areas where people are present. It does not cause any harm to both ozone and humans. Since it is gas, there is no need for extra cleaning processes after a fire. In workplaces, FM200 fire suppression system safety stands out.
How Does FM200 Fire Suppression System Work?
The FM200 system has a very simple principle of use. The area where fire safety is desired to be provided is equipped with sealed pipes. Then the connection is established between these pipes with the FM200 held in the tubes. This system is also integrated into the fire warning sensors. At the moment the fire is detected, all tubes are emptied into the fire area in a short time from 30 seconds to 1 minute. In this way, the flames are suffocated and the fire is extinguished.
